If you've already tried to convert records or cassettes, you will know what a painstaking process it can be. Whether it be the setting up of the equipment, not having the correct cables, not understanding the software or simply not having the time, Convert My Music will take care of all that for you, for a price a lot lower than you would imagine.
Some of you will already have invested in USB turntables or cassette decks. How did you find the results? Sure they will do a job for you, but the term 'jack of all trades, master of none' does spring to mind. To get the best results from your records and cassettes, the best hardware and software needs to be employed, and without listing the tools of our trade by their model numbers (which let's face it, nobody really cares about), we can assure you, we use the very best to bring you the best conversions possible of your precious records and cassettes.
To go into more detail about how we arrive at these fantastic results, let's take you through the process.
1. If it's vinyl records you are having converted, we will inspect them for any serious flaws and clean them if necessary, FREE OF CHARGE. 2. The records or cassettes will be played on industry standard hi-fi equipment, taking care of recording levels and listening out for any nasty surprises so they can be rectified. 3. The resulting audio is captured on computer using the appropriate software, where it is processed. 4. The recordings are normalised to correct any difference in volume levels. 5. If required, we remove any unwanted scratches, pops & clicks FREE OF CHARGE. 6. Once we are happy with the results we have achieved, we separate and name the individual tracks. 7. The resulting tracks are either burnt to a high quality CD or saved to a file format of your choice. 8. Finally, we will keep a back-up of your orders FREE OF CHARGE and should you require a replacement CD or file, we would be able to supply them for a small fee. Details of this and other optional extras we offer are available on the PRICES page.
As you will have noticed, unlike our competitors, we do lots of things FREE OF CHARGE. We believe it's what's expected of us, so why should you have to pay for this? If you order a steak in a restaurant, are you charged for the fuel to cook it?
